Hi! I’m Chris. I live in London and am an electricity trader by profession, working series of day and night shifts in Middlesbrough. Half a lifetime ago, I taught Adrian to play The Settlers of Catan, a claim to fame relevant here and nowhere else. I have listened to every single episode of The Cultures to date except for half of episode 208, for I hope to get round to seeing Baby Driver at some point. (Either that or I’ll leave it a year, decide I haven’t got around to seeing the film and won’t get round to doing so, then decide to listen to the episode anyway. That happened once before.) Usually I will get round to binge-listening 2-3 at once every now and again.
I consider episodes with two hosts to contain more silly giggling than episodes with three hosts, regardless of which two hosts there happen to be. (Absolutely not a negative criticism - I like both episodes with two hosts and episodes with three!)
[Edited to add: that probably looks harsher than intended. Part of the reason why I enjoy the podcast so much and keep coming back is because you have so much fun on it; I am fully in favour of silly giggling, both in the context of The Cultures and also in general!]
